Recipients of the 2005 Excellence in Procurement Outstanding Contribution Award
Thomas Meng, A.P.P., C.P.M., received the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement's "Outstanding Contribution" award. The award was presented on January 20, 2005, at the California Association of Public Purchasing Officers' 87th Annual Conference in Sacramento.
Tom Meng is the Purchasing Agent for the City of Garden Grove and a Past President of CAPPO (1997-1998).
Tom, as CAPPO's representative, has been a contributing member of the AEP Committee for five years. During this time, Tom has volunteered hundreds of hours in designing the program, evaluating the AEP applications, presenting AEP workshops, promoting the program, and becoming an ambassador for the AEP program.
